Sen. Rubio,
If IPAB passes, how will it differ from death panels? If a board of non medical elites have pre determined our care then age makes a big difference.

If everything our forefathes did was succesful enough to make this country the greatest country in the world, where immigrants flocked here many years ago, and worked their butts off, and raised their children as hard working, moral, Catholic, law abiding citizens, and respectful people, who are now the baby boomers, and grandchildren of those wonderful immigrants, then why in God*s name are we trying to change what worked for over a century?

I'm wondering why you guys who we voted into office to work for the American people are going against the MAJORITY of American's in favor of minority bullying? Do you know what the Constitution is actually about? It's not about gay rights, or about abortion, or government control...you all need to be fired because NONE of you seem to know what your job is supposed to be and you all seem to be cowering in the corner rather that do what's right.

S. Rubio,
I know you didn't vote for this military takeover of our streets initiated by McCane and Graham. What in the name of God is going on in Washington? This is pure NAZI thinking!

Economy
James Desrosiers Posted 7 months ago
If someone would do something to help those of us stuck with upside down loans, you would sure free up alot of money to put back into the economy. My house was refinanced in January of 2006 at 9.75%. It was valued at 178,000. My payments are 1785.00 dollars a month. Since the housing market crash the value of my house has dropped to 60.000. Therefore I owe more than the house is worth and no one will talk to me about refinancing. I am 71 and my wife 72. I am a retired 24-year AF Vet. We will have to apply for bankruptcy when my wife has to retire (Jan 2012).

I think Bankruptcy is your only option at this point. I short sold a home in 2008, had no choice. Have been employed and laid off 4 times since. My advice, don't stress about it. If you're over $120,000 upside down in your home, it's never coming back in our life time. Get it over with and move forward the best you can. Heck, you can rent for 1/2 or less than your current mortgage. Why kill yourself over it.

Best of luck!

This is exactly why we have to take back the billions that are stolen every year for all the social services, welfare, government housing, food stamps, and dozens more. We have to take it back and use it for people like this that have EARNED it!

The problem with this country ,is no one has any responsibility for themselves.I built a home in 2000 and had it paid for in 2008.How?I saved up some money for 10 years before, and made double payments after. And I bet I made a lot less than the Air Force pays. The value does not matter...you still have to pay for it.And to me,70 years old is a little old to have a morgage on a fixed income.People make 500$ a week, and spend 700$.Do the math,it doesn't add up.But I never had the new fancy trucks and cars and boats and big exotic vacations either....

Taxes
RickAmye Hauser Posted 7 months ago
I called your office yesterday in response to H.R. 674 being debated & voted on yesterday & today in the U.S. House of Representatives. Your office aide had no idea what your stance on this bill was or how you would vote. I am a small trucking business owner of southern Florida and a 3% preemptive tax on any Government, State or Local load that my company hauls will be burdensome if not devastating to my company. Will you vote to support H.R. 674 to permanently kill this problematic and burdensome business tax Senator Rubio?

If you want to raise taxes I am willing to pay 1 or 2% more IF AND ONLY IF EVERY ONE PAYS THE SAME 1 or 2% NET. That would include the 50% of Americans that don't pay ANY income tax now! It's only far that we all should be vested in this country.

The Banks should not be foreclosing on people. Instead let them spread the payments out as long as needed to bring the monthly payment down to what they can afford. People should not be walking away from there mortgages just because there house is not worth as much as it was. That is just Bank Robbery .

John Deschaine Posted 8 months ago
why don't you do something abut foreclosures by stopping banks from foreclosing and ruining peoples credit make them ride out the storm like everyone else, kicking people out of their homes and ruining their credit is way bad for the economy and helps no one its insane a bank takes back a home and sells it for way less than its worth looses money big time and leaves people with no home and no credit therefore no spending no buying no life

Dear Senator Rubio, I live in California and am a big fan of yours. However, I do have a question. Some people would like to see you nominated as VP for whoever gets the Republican Presidential nomination. Will you be the first one to tell them you are ineligible to be nominated to run as VP or POTUS, for that matter, because your parents were NOT U.S. citizens when you were born in the U.S.? I would appreciate an answer. Thank you.

Sen. Rubio can run for VP because he is eligible. If your born in the US and your parents are not US citizens you are still a US citizen. I don't understand where you are coming from!!
