It's time for you to do the right thing, even if it costs you your job. You must stand up & be the man we all hope and pray that you are! It's time for you to place this country above politics! Stop the spending! Make the hard cuts! Stop the nanny state! Take a pay cut & pay for your own healthcare! Get rid of all of the congressional town cars & limo's. No more free lunch at the capital! Work more & take fewer vacations (recesses). Sell off all of the unused federal office space & property! Defund the TSA! Defund the Department of Education! Smaller government NOW!!!

Being from Arizona,what in the world are you thinking when the goverment sues the state for tryingto protect themselves from illegals. The goverment dam sure will not protect them.

I live lived in CA when I got on disability. Do you know how difficult it is for US citizens to get Disability and for many citizens with a name from south of the border have no problem. I now live in Yuma and see on a daily basis that this is the US in name only. Thanks, You have done us a real favor. What have you done for the citizens in your own state. Is it because you are so wealthy that you really don't care about us. It certain has made your life brighter hasn''t it?

Why in the WORLD will you not let US citizens buy their drugs (mail or otherwise) from Canada and Mx. ......that are identical except for the prices? I consider this a gross miscondut of Congress to the American public so that you all can get contributions from the drug corporations.

The reason he can do it and continues is simple. The majority of Congress are corrupt group of people simply looking for the easy paycheck. They are being LOBBIED by the Corporations and "Special Interest" groups that dump Millions of Dollars into their campaign coffers. We should be able to enact a Constitutional Amendment that would force them to live on the the AVERAGE income of their Constituency, pay TAXES at the same rate and have the SAME retirement (only after 30+ years of gainful employment) and Healthcare (out of Pocket) as the REST of us.

Mr. McCain, how is it that in all your years in Government Svc, you have allowed the Pharma Corps to dictate the absolutely outrageous prices for medicines the US citizens need. You stand by while many of us choose between food and drugs that make our lives almost livable. SHAME ON YOU MR. MCCAIN... YOU HAVE LIVED A LIFE OF LUXURY because your wife is so wealthy. I really feel for you. DO THE RIGHT THING FOR US PEEONS.

Since Sara Palin has purchased a very very expensive home in Arizona, I am thinking that when McCain retires, she will wiggle into his spot. We are in for a

Well, Hurray!!! I am so fed up with McCain and all of his Chronies in his party/congress. They are only there for the protection of "them" NOT US !!!
We need cheaper medicines for our kids, the elderly. We need to push out the lobbiest, the super PAC, the unscrupulous Senator, Representatives the cheat and rape the American People in ways that if known, we would be armed and dangerous.

How about imposing Proposition 25* (CA) on members of Congress for failing to have a viable Budget after 700+ days, go ahead try to blame THAT on Bush..
* The law reads (paraphrasing) no balanced Budget no pay, and no method to regain lost wages, gee just think how much money would go back to Federal Budget if Congress had not gotten paid for the past two years.

I am on your side, but how do we get action when the BAD GUYS are in control. I think all their perks and benefits and pay should stop the first day the budget is late. I also think their retirement should not start until they are 65 years old. They don;t deserve a life time retirement.

I would like to know why you, the Senate and Congress would allow the DOJ to sidestep and US Constitution and sue the State of Arizona to allow ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS the right that only US Citizens have to vote?

The DOJ does what it's told, period. I live in Arizona and I think it unamerican to take our vote away from us. We do need the fence, we do not need tunnels from south of the border to arrive inside the US. Smuggling illegal alliens across the border, many of whom steal and kill. if they get further into the state, they start drug rings they kill, and turn our children into drug addicts. they have no Concepcion of what we stand for and dare us to catch them.

Well it is no wonder that I cannot get a decent reply back regarding the Windfall offset.It does not affect you or your family and I do not line pockets with $$ so push it aside. Everyone claims that this measure keeps SSI afloat.I do not agree at all. Congress, yourself included, continues to just through away BILLIONS of $$, yes BILLIONS for this like rebuilding Mosques around the world ? Oh and Pakistan, Libya ?
