Senator,
Why must the Federal Government involve its self in Education? How about the 10th amendment pertaining states rights in this area?

This shouldn't happen. This is how education gets one -sided values, corruption gets in. I think we should get rid of Department of Education.

What is going on in DC?, Really. Where are those willing to stand up for the people, their rights, economic freedom, personal freedom? What has happened to the concept "of the people,by the people and for the people"? Laws passed behind closed doors without the consent of a majority of the populace, bureaucratic agencies that legislate and observe without constitutional authority, a national debt that threatens to destroy this country; these are all sympomatic of a government grown much, much too large. Who is willing to stand for us, the ordinary American citizen?

Corruption and people need to go. They work for the American people. We elect them to do what is best for Americans and America. Refugees need to stop coming to America our house is FULL. Yes, we are a nation of refugees if you can't take care of the people already here there is no room for more. Our government officials live in a bubble. They but refugees into our communities, schools, some don't like our culture are a danger to our society. The government has armed body guns but they want to take away our guns and dump refugees into our communities from third world counties. Outrageous !

Now when are we the people going to see the light and open their eyes and see both the Republicans and Democrats really dont care for the majority of the middle, just their special interests? Hopefully people will see neither the GOP nor the DNC are working for the good of the United States of America. There comes a time when we the people have to stand up and look toward a common sense solution. Think Whig.

I keep reading that our "immigration system is 'broken' and must be reformed" but the only thing I see wrong is lack of enforcement of existing laws. What is actually "broken?"

Why should the United States of America give any person, who violates our laws and disregards the legal process, amnesty? I would give a two month notice that any Illegal can freely and voluntarily leave to their country or origin. They can request a visa and apply for entrance only if the voluntarily return to their country of origin. After the phase, any person who is here illegally would be deported! If they are found here and forcibly deported they forfeit their ability to apply. Anchor babies should not be any basis for citizenship either.

Is the Democrats' push for immigration reform another effort to save Obamacare by adding millions of illegal aliens to the ACA program?

P.S. My price as a single man with no preexisting conditions went UP.

"Is the Democrats' push for immigration reform another effort to save Obamacare by adding millions of illegal aliens to the ACA program?"

No, I believe it has nothing to do with Obamacare at all and everything to do with stuffing the ballot box. Having more poor people enrolled will only make things worse for Obamacare, they want all those healthy young employed citizens to enroll to support those who cannot pay.

The wave of anti-Obamacarianism is already 'hitting the fan', trying to hand themselves more votes in 2014 is a sign of their desperation.

A close reading of the PPACA, the Healthcare website and the Senate Immigration Reform(SIR) Bill reflect this: "legal" presence is all that currently is required. If you apply for "provisional" status under the SIR bill then you only must wait until the DHS makes "adjusted" status available and then any PPACA prohibition melts away. Of course you have to read the bills to know what is in them. Mark Fisher, Esq.
