The "special deals" that corporations and influential Washington types have put the total burden on regular Americans. Will you continue to fight to stop these abuses of power and fight for the 99% who don't have access?

I reckon that if the public really wanted "high speed rail" they would be willing to pay for it without being taxed. In other words, if it needs to be subsidized, we don't need it. It must be able to operate at a profit without being subsidized.

Do you agree that illegal immigrants should be provided the opportunity to attend colleges at in-state residency rates when true citizens are required to pay three times that amount if their permanent residence is in another state, as opposed to another country?

I do not agree that illegals should have any help with collage or anything else that we don't provide for our own citizens! It is time to focus on our country for a change and stop all foreign aide until our own problems are solved! By the way way, would like to thank all the countries that have helped us through all the natural disasters we have been dealing with for several months.I will list them, ??????????????????? did I miss anyone?

Immigration
Stephen Schroeder Posted 12 months ago
Are you trying to encourage more illegal immigration? Do you think that giving illegals resident status for attending college will slow down illegal immigration? Are you really wanting to help illegals more than USA citizens? Have you already forgotten you are an "American" representitive not a "Central American" representitive?

Yes to all of your questions, she is a California politician and this is a sanctuary state, why do you think we are just about bankrupt????????? But they do not care that this will make things worse, they just want the majority of the hispanic vote.

School 'Welfare'
tcdrums Posted 2 years ago
Congresswoman Sanchez,

My wife is a teacher at a Santa Ana Elementary School. The low-income students were provided free lunches if the parent filled out a form stating their income. These forms were never verified. The other students were provided lunches for a small charge. Last year, the charge was eliminated. All students at the school now get free lunches. In addition, all students get free breakfasts. In addition to that, all students now get free vegetable snacks. (The kids don't eat many of the snacks, so boxes of them end up in the teachers lounge and then get thrown away) .

Besides the cost issues of feeding an entire school snacks and two meals a day, I'm also concerned with immigrants attitude and how they are being 'trained' to depend on the government for food and not bonding with the family at meal times.

Where do you stand on this issue?
