Are there any alternative plans for health care when Obamacare is determined to be unconstitutional?

Do you see more chance of your bill passing this time? Last time it was sneered at by the Democrats (who have yet to put for any plan at all!). It seems to be a well thought-out, decent plan to move us forward. At the very least I would like to see it be a beginning point for serious discussion by people who are serious about trying to get our fiscal house in order. God bless you...and good luck! We're all watching.

Why does Congressman Ryan feel he needs to try and balance the budget by taking pay from gov workers. This not 2008 we moving toward recovery as a country. I agree some agencies need to have cuts but not by freezing pay for 3 more year for gov wk. Again what are the cuts for congressman and senetors? They are gov workers too! But yet they have crazy salaries and well the benefits well they are just outrageous! Get rid of red tape is the long process of gov paper wk and u could save trillions. Start being realistic not dramatic and a headline catcher!

Why does Congress not cut its pay to $50,000? That is the median income and should be good enough for part time government help. The insurance and benefit plans should be the same as Medicaid and Medicare. Salaries for politicians that are not longer serving should be immediately stopped and only retirement pay for those officials who serve minimum 20 years just like the rest of America. When Congress does this, the people will listen and get on board with other cuts. Welfare should be temporary but there should be mandatory education benefits with childcare. segregated single mother housing in gated areas. Male children under 18 have to be in school with high c average to live with parent unless disabled. Food stamps and all public assistance are for LEGAL citizens ONLY. I have an entire list of cuts and reforms if you need any help.

If all of the members of Congress were as strong as you, we wouldn't have debt or any other issues facing our Nation.

I am completely aligned with your views on how we can get out of the financial mess this great country is in. Compromise is mandatory but what needs to happen in order to prevent another breakdown in our government process. Ultimately, this will be a victory for the Dem's.

I agree that we must reverse the culture of dependency.
I support reworking Medicare for people over 55, I am 50.
We must cut spending!
Gov. assistance is far too extensive and the eligibility is far too lenient. These programs should be based on real need, not relative want. We should help a person get back on his feet but not let him keep his feet up.
We must eliminate agencies out side of the three branches of our gov. We must eliminate over reaching regulation, pass and maintain a balanced budget.
I support simplifying the tax code.

I agree. Your first move should be to place Social Security back under its own bracket. Make it untouchable for any political party. The problem is a direct result of allowing it to be used for anything but what it was originally mandated for. Once DC robbed from it, it became a house of cards ready to tumble down. Only people who pay into it gets to use it. that means no illigals, unemployed, persons on welfare with no jobs. It is a simple concept and has only become a panic button because of robber barons in our government. If you did this in the private sector, you would be in jail.

Yes! I missed this point. We must cut spending and it should begin with salaries of our representatives. Let the constituents determine the salaries of their representatives. And put an end to pensions.

Seniors & Social Security

How will your proposed changes affect Medicare & Social Security? I hope those "entitlements" will be safe & secure. I am disabled but would love to be able to hold a job [if I could even find one] in the public sector. I don't enjoy depending on the government for my existence but when that's all I've got to keep me going, that's all I've got. Just sayin'. Thanks
