Why is that so much money has been taken out of social security for things that have nothing to do with it and yet, we now hear it is in trouble. How is it permissible to take money from there to do things like build welfare housing in Tacoma, Wash. or to refurbish Mosques around the world?

What good does "ASK A QUESTION" do, as you Washington DC people ONLY tell us what we want to hear and it isn't TRUTH related! I am a Republican, yet this isn't a party issue, it's with the whole lot you! LOOK at what you let Wall Street do to us, ruin our economy! SO WHAT HAPPENS with all those spending time on their governnent computers searching PORN sites, tht @ the SECURITY & EXCHANGE while the country burns, get fired, no, just moved elsewhere! Like the morons involved in the gun selling deal...how stupid thinking you can track a gun before it's killed someone, like our own?

Taxes
rich linder Posted 7 months ago
there is a disconnect between the taxes we pay and the wars we wage. Why are we taxpayers not sur-charged for the wars we have been and are fighting? In allowing most of us to forget about the people who are putting their lives on the line for our country, the powers that be (you, for example) are are simply an embarrassment. If you want our country to become unified, and I am not sure that you do want this, you need to take steps to force us all to think of what we owe to our armed forces. I think we'd be better off as a country if the draft were reestablished.

I want you to support tax reform, specifically, The Fair Tax. I do not want to hear that you are studying the issue, or that you recognize the need for reform. It is past time to get politics out of the tax code.

Congresman Campbell,

Why aren't you willing to meet with your constituent, Janice Burstin? Regardless of whether or not you think her voice is important, you are obligated by your office to hear her opinions..

Sincerely,
Thomas Boudreau

Its apparently due to the fact that he thinks he's above his constiuents. Which isn't right. I don't live there, but what she's asking for isn't unreasonable. He should explain himself, for not talking to the people who helped him get to the position he's in. As-well-as answer the e-mails that were sent to him from the same said people who got him into Office. This is a no-brainer. Come down from your pedistal, get out the Hoilier-than-thou, attitude. Just as easy as you got in your seat-it can just as easily be taken away!!!!

I am constituent from Laguna Woods and I have tried many times to speak to you. Why is it you don't have town hall meetings and seem to be ignoring your constituents?

Unfortunately, be he Democrat or Republican, John Campbell's office refused to even respond to several requests I made for a Town Hall meeting during the Obamacare discussion in Congress. Hard to believe but I think he would have had a friendly audience. The best we can hope for is that a Conservative who is more in touch with his or her district will run against JC in the primary!

Maybe you should detail the issues you would like to discuss with Congressman Campbell. Maybe I have the same issues, and will be able to support you.

Good for you I'm a Conservative (Republican) and I would expect this type of behaviour from a Democrat. I really do hope that Mr. Campbell's actions are based on scheduling conflicts, and not the abject refusal to meet with his Constituents.

How can any legislator support tax breaks for corporations and why have you not addressed Part D Medicare problem related to regulating prescription prices. I would appreciate you responding to me. Thank you, David Sonneborn

Congressman Campbell, I am senior at CDM and a constituent of yours. I am excited because I will be old enough to vote in the next election.

I am a member of the JSA at CDM and was reviewing your recent legislation on your website. Can you give me a boiled down (understandable version) of the following bill you are sponsoring?

H.R.1174
Latest Title: Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act

After reading the CRS summary it just not clear to me what you are trying to accomplish.

Thank you, Adam Yale

I agree with your desire and effort to bring our troops home from Afghanistan, and your statement, "We believe it is no longer the best way to defend America against terror attacks, and we urge you to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan that are not crucial to the immediate national security objective of combating al Qaeda".

Who else in Congress can I help you contact to support this effort?

Education

Why is it that we are having such a tough time with education here in the US? Especially with the teachers and the budgets that are happening? Did it all start getting bad in 2004? Thank you for answering my questions and I am VERY GLAD that you are Republican, because it doens't happen very often in this great state.
