At least a lapsed Catholic knows what they believe, they just don't practice. Jesus told us that being a Catholic wouldn't be convenient or easy. But you want to pretend that you are better than he just like your President quotes him when it suits his purpose and then goes against him when it suits him too. You can't have it both ways.

How can you go along with anything that is infringeing on another's religion. Contraception is against the Catholic Religion and it has always been that way. You people invoke the separation of Church and State only when it is convenient for you. It is preached to us to keep the church and government separate but now you want to bring it in. No contraception in Catholic hospitals or its teachings. I am not catholic but I believe they have the right to teach what they have always taught. Stay out of it. It is wrong. to force them to use this.

Correct me if I'm wrong however my understanding is that this Nation was founded on the basic precept of Religious Freedom and that Government had no right to interfere with that freedom. Why are we allowing this to happen to our Country, we all need to review the conduct of ALL members of Congress on this issue and DEMAND that they rebuke the onslaught on our rights as citizens of this Nation (Under GOD!) by the current White House Administration.

How can Archbishop Niederauer allow you to continue to receive the sacraments in your church when you are going directly against every thing the Catholic religion teaches.

I would suggest that everyone contact the archbishop and let him know how "we" of the Catholic faith refuse to be dictated to by the secular Government. This action hopefully will serve as a warning to others of different faiths, and moral belief that will be controlled by our corrupt Congress if we do not VOTE them out soon!

Insurance companies are using the Health Care Bill as an excuse to raise rates. They will be gaining customers through the health care bill, and will NOT be losing money because of it. You are being fed a pack of lies. The "mandate" is an insurance company's dream, and was originally a Republican idea. But you won't hear that on Fox News.

Heck, I had to give up my health care insurance because of the cost. When the bill passed, they gave too much time for it to really kick in. Now the health care insurers are ruling the roost.
